The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government provides a network of Park and Ride facilities to encourage people to park their car and catch the bus. The Park and Ride permit allows you to park for free near Belconnen, Woden and Tuggeranong Bus Stations and continue your trip by bus.
Park and Ride permits will be available to persons who have $90 ($40 concession holders) or more in their MyWay account at no extra charge. MyWay users who utilise the Auto-load payment method also qualify for a Park and Ride permit.
There are additional Park and Ride locations across Canberra that do not require a permit.
Important Notice:
From Monday 2 July 2012 changes will be implemented to the Park and Ride permit system.
Changes to the system will include the issue of a single permit for use in all Park and Ride permit areas across Canberra.
This will include new permit areas located at Mawson and Mitchell.
Extra spaces have been allocated within the Mawson and Mitchell areas to improve access for Park and Ride users.
