Standard MyWay cards can be ordered online or purchased from MyWay recharge agents, MyWay Centres, or Canberra Connect Shopfronts. A minimum of $20 of travel credit must be added to your card at time of purchase. Online orders also attract an additional $1.50 postal fee. If purchasing a MyWay card through a MyWay recharge agent a minimum of $5 cash or $20 EFTPOS/credit card must be added to the card at time of purchase.
Student MyWay cards can be ordered online or at a MyWay Centre or MyWay recharge agent. Student cards ordered online may take up to five working days to be processed and will be mailed to the applicant's nominated address. Students/parents must ensure that value has been added to the cards prior to use. Value can be added to the card online, by phone or in person at a MyWay Centre, MyWay recharge agent or at a Canberra Connect Shopfront (min $5 cash or $20 EFTPOS/credit card applies).
Registering your MyWay card allows you to check your travel balance online and helps protect your balance if your card is lost or stolen. Remaining funds on unregistered cards cannot be transferred to a new card if it is lost or stolen. Registration also allows you to check your account details online, including accessing your balance and recent travel history.
MyWay cards may be topped up in person at MyWay recharge agents, MyWay Centres or Canberra Connect Shopfronts or via direct debit (application forms are available from MyWay Centres and Canberra Connect Shopfronts), BPAY or online using a credit card.
Further information about purchasing, registering and topping up your MyWay card can be found at the Transport for Canberra website.
