Extension of Time to Commence or Complete Building

One of the key obligations of Crown lessees is to develop the land in accordance with the building and development covenant, which usually requires that you commence and complete a building on your land within 12 months and 24 months respectively, from the commencement date of the lease. If it is not possible for you to meet the building time obligations set out in your lease then you must apply for an extension.
