drumMuster

The drumMuster program provides an environmentally responsible way of collecting and disposing of eligible rigid metal and plastic chemical containers.

Thiess Services currently runs the chemical container collection service at the Mitchell Resource Recovery Centre, Flemington Road, Mitchell . By appointment, clients can bring their triple rinsed and punctured containers on the first Thursday of every month between the hours of 10 am and 12 noon. An authorised drumMuster officer is on site to inspect all containers to ensure compliance.

Containers bearing the drumMuster logo are accepted at drumMuster collections. Thiess Services will also accept non-drumMuster containers which will be dealt with separately and recycled.
